Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Lawn Cutting

A flat monthly rate, the same crew at the door, and a cut that holds its line through the Texas summer.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing on a fixed day so you know when to expect us. Set monthly billing — same number every month, twelve months a year, even in the slow weeks. Sharp blades, height adjusted with the season (taller in July to keep moisture in, shorter on the cool side), and the walks blown clean before the truck pulls off the curb.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders along walks, drives, and beds — the line that says someone has been tending this yard for years.

A proper power-edge along every concrete border, every visit. String-trim around fences, posts, mailbox, and the live-oak roots that the mower can’t reach. The kind of edge that stays sharp for the full week and reads as cared-for from the curb.

  • Flower Bed Cleanup

Hand-pulled weeds, dead-headed perennials, fresh edge along the lawn. Beds reset, not just touched.

Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edibles or pets unless you ask), dead-heading and seasonal pruning, a fresh hand-cut edge between bed and turf, and a clean haul-off so you’re not the one driving bags to the dump. Twice a year is plenty for most yards we maintain weekly.

  • Shrub Trimming

Hand-shaped boxwood, holly, ligustrum, and the everyday hedges — pruned at the right time, not when the schedule says.

Hand-pruned shape work on shrubs and small ornamentals, timed to the plant rather than the calendar. We sharpen between cuts so the shears slice cleanly instead of crushing the wood. Anything taller than the second-story roofline we sub to a TDA-licensed climber and project-manage from there.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the depth that suppresses weeds and holds water through the Pflugerville summer.

Bulk-delivered mulch, hand-spread to a consistent 2-3" around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it. No piles against trunks, no thin patches at the back of the bed.

  • Fertilization

A program tuned to Pflugerville clay — slow-release nitrogen in spring, iron in summer, balanced winterizer in October.

Slow-release nitrogen in early spring, iron supplement when the heat hits and the lawn yellows, balanced winterizer in late October. Most yards in this part of the metro are clay-heavy and starving for iron more than nitrogen — we adjust the program once we’ve been on the lawn a season.

  • Leaf & Seasonal Cleanup

Live oak, pecan, cedar elm — the leaf drop in the Austin metro is real. We clear lawn, beds, and gutters from the ground.

Backpack blower through the lawn and beds, raking around the foundations, hauled off-site. Two visits is usually enough — late November and again in January after the live oaks finish dropping. Spring cleanup resets the beds and the lawn for the growing season.

  • Core Aeration

Pulled cores, not spike rolling. Once a year your lawn breathes again and the water stops sheeting off the clay.

A tow-behind core aerator that pulls actual plugs every 4-6 inches. Best done in early spring for warm-season turf in Central Texas. We follow up with a top-dress and an overseed if you want it. Compaction in this clay is real — most of the lawns we walk for the first time in Pflugerville have never been aerated, and you can feel the difference within three weeks.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
